Cabinetry built to your measurements instead of a catalog's — kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, mudrooms, and built-ins.
Request a QuoteStock cabinets come in three-inch increments. Your walls do not. That gap gets covered with filler strips, and in a typical kitchen you can lose eight to twelve inches of usable storage to fillers, dead corners, and boxes that were sized for a showroom instead of your room. In older Lake County homes, where walls are rarely square and ceiling heights vary across a single run, it gets worse. Custom cabinetry solves that by starting from your actual measurements. Every box is built to the dimension the space needs. Corners become functional pull-outs instead of dead voids. Uppers run to the ceiling instead of leaving a dust shelf. A pantry gets built around what you actually store. Jose has been building and installing cabinetry for over fifteen years out of Lake Villa. Sarahi handles the design side — wood species, door styles, finishes, and hardware — so the cabinetry matches the rest of the house rather than fighting it.
Cabinets get scribed and shimmed to the wall you have, not the wall the drawing assumed. In a hundred-year-old house that is the entire job.
Blind corners and dead voids are a stock cabinet compromise. We build corner units that pull out, swing, or open — storage you can actually reach.
Jose manages fabrication and installation personally. Nothing gets handed off between a shop and a crew who have never spoken to each other.
Sarahi works through wood species, door styles, finishes, and hardware with you. Jose measures every wall, corner, and run so the boxes are built to the actual room, not a 3-inch grid.
Boxes are built, doors milled, finishes applied. If this is part of a larger kitchen or bath project, cabinetry runs in parallel with rough-in so the schedule does not stack first-one-then-the-other.
Cabinets scribed to walls that are not perfectly square, doors adjusted, hardware installed, and the installation walked with you. Adjustments are a standard part of the process, not a call-back.

The real difference is not visible once the doors are on. It is in the drawer slides, the corner that is a pull-out instead of a dead void, the uppers that run to the ceiling, and the pantry built around the things you actually store.
Full cabinet sets, islands, pantries, appliance panels, and built-in seating.
Vanities built to your wall width, linen cabinets that fit the alcove, medicine cabinets recessed to the stud bay.
Bookshelves, mudroom lockers, entertainment centers, and home office cabinets — floor-to-ceiling with no trim-hiding gaps.
Walk-in closet systems, pantry storage, garage cabinets, and laundry room built-ins.
We build in a range of wood species — maple, oak, cherry, walnut, hickory — and plywood boxes are standard at ¾" furniture-grade. Finishes run from natural clear coat to painted MDF doors in whatever color you want.
Design: one to two weeks from consultation to signed plan. Fabrication: eight to twelve weeks depending on the size of the job, wood species, and finish schedule. Installation: one to three weeks on site. If cabinets are part of a larger kitchen or bath project, fabrication runs in parallel with rough-in work so the overall schedule is not eight plus X, it is the larger of the two.
Lead times matter. Cabinetry ordered late stalls everything after it — countertop templating, backsplash, appliance install, trim, and final walkthrough. We prioritize getting cabinet decisions locked early so the build does not idle.
